Wolf Custom Homes sells luxury estates in Bearspaw
Calgary’s luxury homes market has performed this year well below levels attained in 2014, but all is not bleak.
Wolf Custom Homes recently sold two homes, one for close to $2 million and the other, the Mission Revival estate home in Watermark at Bearspaw, for $3,450,000.
The 8,644-sq.-ft. Mission Revival estate includes a guest home, hydronic in-floor heat and a turreted wine room.
“This home is unlike any other,” says Jason Ortt, co-owner of Wolf Custom Homes with Shaun Mckernan. “It was a joy to design and build (the home) and we consider it one of our finest accomplishments.”
The home offers an escape into a Mediterranean-inspired estate while maximizing Watermark’s exceptional views and pond system, says Mckernan.
“With six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, luxury finishing including a conservatory and a separate guest house, this property is the ultimate fit for a luxury lifestyle,” he says.
The other sale was the company’s former showhome, also in Watermark, which sold for $1,940,000.
“We are thrilled to have Wolf as one of our Builders of Distinction in Watermark,” says Ian Macdonald, director of sales and marketing for Macdonald Development Corp. “With the variety of design, size and setting for a custom or quick possession home, there is truly something for everyone here and our community is designed to reflect the luxury lifestyle our residents have worked hard to enjoy.
“The recent luxury home sales are an indication that in spite of economic changes, the luxury lifestyle and market remain strong in Calgary.”
